CVL-Group is a privately owned family run business based in South Shropshire. Originally founded in 1985 as DJ Price Coachbuilder’s the company has built a first class reputation for quality, reliability & above all, high volume fast turnarounds. Over the last 18 years CVL has become the UK’s market leader for plywood and innovative light weight plastic van lining kits.
The company has grown from a small local operation to a multi-million-pound European-wide business, producing in excess of 40,000 lining kits per year.
The quality of our expertly engineered lining kits has allowed CVL to attract a distinguished blue chip customer base. We are now tier one suppliers to many OEM’s including Mercedes Benz, Toyota and Peugeot, as well as supplying van import centers, van converters, national fleets, contract hire and daily rental companies throughout the UK and Europe.
CVL Group currently operate from two manufacturing sites, our purpose built 19,000sq ft head office in Shropshire and our northern manufacturing operation in Newcastle-upon-Tyne. Both are equipped with high-tech multi-sheet CNC Routers, 5 in total, and our main site is also equipped with the latest £600,000 high-speed Mitsubishi Laser, a true testament to CVL’s commitment to continue to provide the best designed and easiest to fit lining kits in the industry.
In 2009 due to constant demand for fast turnaround cost effective van conversions CVL Group set up a One-Stop-Shop Van Conversions division to cater for small, medium and large fleets requiring a fast turnaround. In 2014-2015 alone we successfully planned and completed projects for the likes of BT Openreach 1200+ vans, McNicholas 460+ vans and G4S 450+ vans, to name a few.
CVL Van Conversions provide a complete turn-key solution, encompassing everything from base vehicle selection - 3D interior layout planning – interior lining - steel or plywood racking - all manner of standard & electrical accessories - livery.
