Conversions include the designing and fitting of complex ancillary and powered equipment.CVL fully commission all equipment, ensuring that time, cost and quality are closely controlled. CVL manufacture the shelving and racking on site which ensures that the requirement is fully met, alternatively our range of modular racking systems can be used to provide an alternative cost effective solution.

Consulting Services
We work in partnership with you and your team to fully understand your conversion requirements. Every aspect of the conversion requirement is considered before a single design is produced. Conversion is planned out from concept to completion, so you have the right vehicle specification. Providing a technical solution that meets your cost benefit requirements.
We worked closely with the CVL Team to determine what our specification would look like at the initial 3D visual design stage.
Design & Prototype
We utilise 3D modelling and engineering drawings with the latest SolidWorks software, creating customised visuals that are completely unique to your needs. This level of detail and design delivers the right solution every time.
Designs are uploaded to our Product Data Management (PDM) System which provides real time control over 3D models, engineering drawings, BOM’s, documents and other associated information. This ensures that customer request for new orders or life cycle maintenance of the equipment is accessible and accurate as the original build.
Understanding our specification requirements in detail, we could begin the design process with CVL staff confidently and review the vehicle layouts for discussion with other team members.

Manufacture & Assembly
We have total control over production processes and delivery of your conversion requirements. We ‘project manage’ every stage of the manufacturing process from engineering, assembly, to scheduling of bought out items with full quality control throughout.
With our own prototyping, manufacturing, testing, assembly, fitting, design and engineering teams all on one site; CVL-Group offers customers tailored vehicle storage systems which are quality controlled, cost effective, with a minimum turnaround time and lower environmental impact.
It was clear from our initial visit to CVL-Group that they had the engineering know-how and high quality manufacturing equipment to meet our requirements on-site.

Conversion & Quality
We maintain high standards of quality, final check against vehicle specification is undertaken, our quality control processes inspect every main area of the vehicle, final measurement and location of racking, auxiliary equipment, through to electrical accessories and final finish.
