Chemical Storage and Management Vehicle

The Brief 

We were tasked with designing a chemical storage van that could be completely washed down and maintained in a hygienic state. Our customer required ample storage divided into two sections, as well as integrated welfare amenities.

The Design

We installed our durable plastic Eco Liner and a phenolic non-slip floor, both of which are waterproof, chemical-resistant, and easy to wipe clean. To create a functional partition between the front and rear sections, we manufactured and installed bespoke L-shaped, three-tier phenolic shelving. This shelving offered ample storage and maintained hygienic standards, being fully wipeable. We also factored welfare amenities and chemical storage containers into our designs to ensure employee safety.

The Result

The final design met all the customer’s needs. In the front of the van, we installed essential welfare features such as a DEB unit, handwash basin, eyewash station, and first aid kits, ensuring employee safety and comfort. In the rear section, we fitted a secure chemical storage bin to safely contain hazardous materials. The van now provides a fully hygienic, practical solution, making it a perfect fit for the customer’s requirements.
